NOTES:

ㆍVents shall always be placed at: 

     1、Last fill area of cavity(s)

     2、End of all thin wall sections

     3、Weld lines or knit lines

     4、Side pull cores

     5、Bottom of blind holes or blind details

     6、At parting line of cavities in all potential gas trap areas

ㆍVents shall be ground whenever possible.

ㆍVent land shall be typically .04 - .12 long.

ㆍVent relief shall be typically .030 deep and .25 – 0.5 wide (out to atmosphere)

ㆍGlass filled materials normally require slightly deeper vents than un-filled materials.

ㆍRunner systems shall also be vented
